First Christmas!!

So James and I have officially had our first Christmas together!!! It was wonderful :) For the morning we went over and spent time with my family, getting to talk to both of our missionaries (My brother and Cousin) and having Christmas dinner with them. Then we were off to his Grandma's house for games and presents, which was so much fun!!
We played bingo, had a couple guessing games, and trivia games. Then we played a game where you had to roll a pair of dice until someone got a specific number, then that person had to unwrap a present while wearing oven mitts until someone else rolled that same number. We all had such a blast!! Then as the night winded down and we all had unwrapped all of our presents, we all went around the room saying what we were thankful for, which was really neat. I'm really grateful for the loving arms has family has welcomed me with, in such a short amount of time. They are the best :)
It was definitely different having my first Christmas not at home, or living with my parents rather,  not bad. Just different. I had a wonderful time with the people I love. There's just a lot more people now!!

Work, Life and Other Things.

Well people, its a post about work. Not that I hate my job, I love it!! I get to do something I love every day. Being a "kiddie photographer" can have its ups and downs, like any profession I would assume. Some days are completely booked with appointments from open until close, (Especially during the holiday season) and some days.... leave me with nothing to do whatsoever. And since the other lady I would share the work week with quit during the tail end of last week, I get to be the lucky one to pick up all the shifts for the rest of the week. 9:45am until 8:00/8:30 pm. Its a joy, really :) haha I just can't wait for the new girl they hired to start working.

James got a little job selling fireworks again. Which will be awesome for the money, but as for having him be at work during Christmas and New Years, not so awesome. He'll be gone all day, everyday starting a week from today ending on New Years Day. But we gotta do what we gotta do :) And I'm proud of him for doing it!!

And for all you newlyweds or any wedds, I found a dating blog. For married couples. Which I find amazing :) Its called The Dating Divas. Best site ever for cute things to do for your husband (or wife) I feel like the only people that wouldn't know about them would be people that live under a rock. And I didn't just find it, I found it before I was married, but its just more relevant now that I'm married :)
